2/26/05: Shades of old-time radio, it's a LUCKY STRIKE EXTRA (for this weekend only): our dear Uncle Doom found a media clip which summarizes his special relationship with the legal profession. Enjoy it while you can. (Update on 3/1: Whoops, ya missed it...) Also, more Nate OhEmGee whatnot...this is shaping up to be the storage shed for dead sites, innit? 2/20/05: Yes, but of course there are more chat logs...and the two most recent ones are what seem to pass for classics around here. You keep asking for 'em and dammit if I don't keep finding 'em...no accounting for taste these days. Oh yes, and my demands were definitely not met, so you get Nate talking about M:TG strategy. You had your chance, and I can have no pity. 2/19/05: More oldie goldies from Nate's OhEmGee backlog added, and we haven't even touched the Magic: The Gathering material. And we never have to, if my demands are met... 2/18/05: Now serving: the Jubilee chat...complete with the whole godawful story behind it. Have fun. 2/15/05: Still more old chat logs added, to make you wonder why today sucks so hard... Also reinstated the Fiction section. 2/14/05: Nate Loney was kind enough to let us pick over what he contributed to OhEmGee.com (it's not dead, just pinin' for the fjords...and it happens to like restin' on its back with its legs in the air like that). Also joining the backlog from other places is a set of handpicked Oracles War Room columns by our old pal Ska, handcrafted for your reading pleasure, but not intended to be taken rectally. 2/13/05: Let's not waste any
time... My first act is to restore a good chunk of writing from the old old site
(the wrestling columns didn't make it to the new server back in the
day, for some reason). Also, I intend on making good on Ska's
longstanding threat to post our best work from the chatroom, and in
fact, I'm doing that right now. In
the meantime, once everything else has been settled, I'll be posting an
address
for submissions (and I mean it, man...). Welcome to the new regime, dear friends...this is 3zy speaking. Our comrade, Matt "Ska-Boom" Etling, in his continuing quest to dedicate his life to high stakes poker and give his parents something to cry about, decided to hand over the keys of the kingdom to the Man Known As Doom. All things considered, that was a sound decision; it's what they did next that made Baby Jesus cry. After some deliberation, they decided to make me the webmaster, which is a decision they may learn to regret, since they've all read my attempts at being clever. The upshot, however, is that I refuse to let this sad, neglected site die, shivering, naked, alone and afraid...I believe this marriage can be saved. There'll be a few
changes coming in the weeks ahead (and yes, that means a design tweak and
content), but in the meantime, it's almost that time of year, so here's
yet another link to an article
appropriate to the season. The fact that it's one of mine has
nothing to do with it...no sir... What Used To Be New... God knows why you'd want to rip US off, but there ya go. |
